Each day, before the sun comes up, we arrive at the bakery to bake breads, muffins, scones, cookies, and much more – all made from scratch. Here at Great Harvest Bread Company in Goldsboro, we mill our own wheat on-site each day and use the flour within 48 hours of milling it, ensuring you will receive the entirety of the whole-wheat kernel with every bite you take. Just like freshly ground coffee beans make the best cup of coffee, or freshly squeezed orange juice cannot be beat, freshly milled whole wheat kernals make our bread taste phenomenal and give it the absolute best flavor possible! You really can taste the difference! Freshly milled whole grain bread is also life-enhancing, and has many health benefits. We use premium wheat bought from family owned farms located in the finest wheat growing region in the world — Montana. And we only use pure and simple ingredients in our products. You won’t find additives, dough conditioners, or preservatives.
Around lunch time, treat yourself to what we’ve heard is the best sandwiches in town. Between two slices of our fresh made bread you can choose the freshest meats, our homemade chicken or tuna salad, with our homemade spreads and fresh veggies.
